This client assured me that her little dog, Stymie, was very proud of his fluffy white tail. She wanted me to make sure it stood out well, so I painted it against the dark background at the base of the tree. He also had coal black eyes. The background area was Stymie's favorite spot in the yard. The red, heart-shaped medallion also had special meaning.
